SEIKICHI ODO was born in 1923 in Agena on Okinawa. He started 1932 by he learned Judo the martial arts training. KOHO, where he learned the Tomari te 1936 moved to Cuba. In 1940, he became a disciple of NAKAMURA SHIGERU, who had founded the Okinawa Kempo karate. This was his most important teacher.
At the same time, he studied also the Kobujutsu TOMA SEIKI, MITSUO KAKAZU, KENKO NAKAIMA and SHINPO MATAYOSHI. Later, he transferred methods of Kobudo in Okinawa Kempo karate. After the death of NAKAMURA, he founded the Okinawa Kempo karate Kobudo Rengokai using MAEHARA SEIJIRO and CHIBANA KENKO. 1983 Odo changed this organization in two organizations called Okinawa Kempo karate Kobudo Renmei and Okinawa Kempo karate Kobudo Shudokan.

Warning, these examinations is by Akio Nagai and meets the requirements of the SKID-Karate Association. At the age of 15 Nagai Shihan began the study of karate do, 18 years of age, he entered the Takushoku University in Tokyo and was trained there during the next four years to the Karate Instructor.
Nagai Shihan in Germany lives since 1965. He was the first Japanese instructor who remained in Germany and here for the spread of karate, no matter which Association, provided.
the Shotokan karate international Germany (SKID) was founded in 1975 by Nagai Shihan. He considered his life's work building of the SKID and the proliferation of karate do in subsequent generations.

The examination regulations divided the training content in the development of youthful Karate from beginner to 1st Kyu. The examination regulations consists of four parts: Kihon, Kumite, Kata and fitness exercises. In each part related, progressive priorities are set. The different forms of exercise give the young karateka a solid basis for further karate training. By kontunuierliches training to the young people learn at the same time with the physical training, including the responsible use of partners.

Kihon:
In Kihon the specimen shows the basic form of the individual techniques. The focus here is primarily on secure objects, correct Ausholbewegungen and end positions in the correct techniques. Building on the basic techniques increases towards the proportion of combinations to higher kyu grades. The basic techniques that are now frequently shown in combinations should be developed from the basic form for fine form.

Kumite:
The exam is divided into pure distance Kumite exercises and simple partner exercises in attack- and counter technique. In the distance exercise the student should demonstrate that he has mastered the techniques required later in attack and counterattack and can control the partner. In the distance Kumite exercises shown above are now showing a defensive and counter-ligand partners. In Kumite, the technical skills to higher kyu grades out in increasing diversity movement, fighting spirit and inspection intended to express.

Kata:
In the Kata, the candidate shows the learned in Kihon techniques, in which case the proper technique and execution sequence, liquid (rhythm) are to be shown before force. In advanced specimens conscious use of the hips, stability, breathing technique and an understanding Kime (Bunkai) is in addition to the rhythm of movement, are shown.
