Der Sportboden ist gelenkschonend, aufpralldämpfend, formstabil, punktelastisch und rutschfest. Darüber hinaus zeichnet sich dieser Sportboden durch seine sehr gute Schall- und Wärmeisolierung aus. Durch die Rundumverzahnung (Interlocking-System) läßt sich jede beliebige Fläche individuell gestalten und sauber verlegen, sowie bei Bedarf vergrößern oder umgestalten. Mit der Verzahnung ist ein fester Zusammenhalt der Matten untereinander gewährleistet. Ein sauberer Randabschluß ist durch die Verwendung der speziellen Rand- und Eckstücke gewährleistet. Manchmal ist das Verlegen der Sportmatten im Trainingsraum sehr schwer, weil die Wände nicht rechtwinklig sind. Mittels eines scharfen Cuttermessers (oft in Baumärkten erhältlich) kann man die Ränder sauber korrigieren und anpassen. Speziell für den europäischen Markt wurden die Matten nochmals von der CSTB, Paris, auf Schwerentflammbarkeit (M4-Zertifikat) für die Verwendung in öffentlichen Einrichtungen getestet. LGA (Landesgewerbeanstalt in Deutschland) geprüft auf gesundheitliche Unbedenklichkeit, nach EN 71-1, 71-2, 71-3 sowie nach dem Gebrauchs- und Lebensmittelschutzgesetz. Frei von Weichmachermitteln nach EU-Norm. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Wendematte, also bei dieser Matte gibt es keine Vorder- oder Rückseite, sie ist beidseitig verwendbar und mit einem Reisstrohmuster/Reisstrohprägung versehen. Die Double Competition ist die Bereicherung für Ihr professionelles Sport- und Kampfsporttudio. Im April 2008 wurde die Matte weiterentwickelt und vom TÜV erneut nach EN1177 mit folgendem Ergebnis getestet: Die Fallschutzsicherheit konnte auf 1 m Höhe verbessert werden.
