Since the middle of the 18th century these sabres were imported in many countries of Europe. They were used also in America. At present the sabres are used by Reenactorengroups, militias, theater etc.
The handle part is manufactured of brass. The blade is forged of hardened carbon steel. A leather scabbard is part of every sabre with brass mounting.
