The third part of the present volume deals with the modern application of the tonfa as multi purpose usage stock of police. Basic techniques, are like different methods, the tonfa in readiness to bring, blocks, shocks, blows or lever in detail and illustrated with numerous drawings and photographs. In addition, special techniques are represented, which can be in practical use for the police officers of the utmost importance. These include the protection of the own tonfa foreign access or the defence of service weapons.
Of particular interest, the offered possibility should be here to incorporate the best practices of the classical Kobudo in the modern practice of armed forces. Generally, practicality and effectiveness were the decisive criteria for the selection of the presented techniques.
