Dieses Buch bietet einen guten Überblick über das japanische Bogenschießen.
Es finden sich die Geschichte des Kyudo sowie Beschreibungen und Anleitungen von der Herstellung des Bogens und der Pfeile, über dessen richtige Pflege und Aufbewahrung, Meditative Aspekte des Bogenschießens, alles über die Bekleidung/Schutzausrüstung und Anleitungen für das Schießen selbst in dem in schwarz/weiß gehaltenen Werk.
Alle Übungen, Abläufe sowie Anleitungen werden anschaulich mit Bildern erläutert.

Für alle, die sich für Kyudo interessieren, kann ich dieses Buch empfehlen.
