The examination regulations divided the training content in the development of youthful Karate from beginner to 1st Kyu. The examination regulations consists of four parts: Kihon, Kumite, Kata and fitness exercises. In each part related, progressive priorities are set. The different forms of exercise give the young karateka a solid basis for further karate training. Kihon:

Grand Master Hirokazu Kanazawa was born in 1931 in Iwate (Japan).
At an early age he was interested in various martial arts.
As a student of Takushoku University, he became a student of Masatoshi Nakayama and the founder of Shotokan Karate Gichin Funakoshi.
Since that time he has remained faithful to the Shotokan Karate and holds worldwide Karate-Do training from. In 1978 Kancho Kanazawa the World Federation SKIF (Shotokan Karate International Federation). In 2002, he of the 10th Dan in Shotokan Karate was awarded.
On this DVD you will learn 17 kata of Shotokan Karate. Kancho Kanazawa shows not only the students katas, which are required for the first tests in karate, but also many advanced katas from 1st Dan black belt.
The katas are demonstrated by Hirokazu Kanazawa in slow and normal pace.
Each kata application (bunkai) is demonstrated on the partner. The techniques are shown in slow motion and from different angles.
