This is a Sanada Saemon-no-Suke Yukimura armor in miniature version. Sanada Yukimura (1567 - 1615) was a Japanese samurai General of Clan Takeda. He was a brilliant military tactician. Although his army was comparatively small and outnumbered his opponents, he won many battles. With its daring strategies and achievements, he became famous and forever a place in Japanese history. Sanada Yukimura was called a "a hero, there is only once in 100 years" and "The Crimson Demon of War". His soldiers are as "Akazonae" known.
This armor consists of a combination of wood, metal and cotton knitting. Painted true to detail in the colors of the Takeda clan. It was true detail of the famous armor modeled by the General Sanada Yukimura. The base on which the armor is sitting is a black lacquered wooden box with gold Kanji. This miniature armor is a perfect collectible for samurai enthusiasts.
