Koppo ist eine Form, die sich den Angriffskünsten widmet und die Kontrolle über die Gelenke und die Knochen des menschlichen Körpers zeigt. Ursprünglich suchte man durch die Brüche der Knochen ein Vorteil über den Feind, und schaffte es dadurch zu verhindern, dass dieser mit Waffen, wie zum Beispiel dem Katana, manipulieren konnte. Es ist eine Charakteristik des Aiki-Jujutsu und des Jujutsu. Das Koppo-Jutsu ist zweifelsohne eines der Gebiete mit größter Wirksamkeit innerhalb des Bujutsu.
