Under the direction of Kisshomaru Ueshiba, son and heir of aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba, the Aikido has spread throughout the world. For decades, he has directed the legendary Aikikai in Tokyo, the world center for the art of his father. There he received in 1987 our employees Salvador Herraiz to answer its questions about philosophy, history, the arts of Aikido and other Japanese martial arts, and the founder himself. This historic document is enriched with photos from classes and technical demonstrations during that meeting, which was organized by Waka Sensei, Moriteru Ueshiba, son of Kishomaru and current head of the Aikido world.
