The Shirasaya has a long history in the Japanese sword art.

The blade of the sword is made of carbon steel and has an aesthetic Hamon. The blade has a blood Groove and is sharp. Saya and handle look like made in one piece. The handle was made by hand to outline the Tang of the sword. A single Mekugi secures the rod in the handle of the sword.
