King Arthur´s history and legend is intimately linked to the magic and misterious sword Excalibur. As Merling the wizard had proclamed, only the one able to take the sword out of the stone would be the king.
Arthur knelt in front of the stone, fulfiled this deed, took the sword, went with it to the cathedral and offered it in the altar.
Arthur was anointed with the Sacred Oil and, in presence of all the barons and common people, he solemny swore to be a loyal king and to defend Truth and Justice all the days of his life.
Legend and history were mixed through time and king Arthur´s legend, The Knights of the Round Table and the magic sword Excalibur have arrived intimately united to our days.

Die Geschichte: Man schreibt das Jahr 3018 des dritten Zeitalters in Mittelerde. Im Südosten der mittelalterlichen Welt rüsten die grausamen Armeen des Landes Mordor zum Krieg. Unter dem Kommando des dunklen Fürsten Sauron überziehen Heerscharen von Orks, schrecklichen Monstern, die Länder der Menschen, Elben und Zwerge. Nur bis ins gemütliche Auenland im Nordwesten von Mittelerde sind sie noch nicht vorgedrungen. Dort leben glücklich und immer für ein Stück Kuchen und eine Tasse Tee zu haben, die Hobbits. Hobbits sind etwa einen Meter groß, behäbig und freundlich und das einzige, mit dem sie wirklich nichts am Hut haben sind Abenteuer. Gandalf berichtet den Hobbits von den schrecklichen Kriegen im Süden und der Ursache, einem kleinen magischen Ring, den der schreckliche Sauron vor langer Zeit zum Zweck der Weltbeherrschung schmiedete. Sauron verlor diesen Ring in einem Krieg gegen die Menschen und Elben und er galt lange als verschollen. Doch nun ist der Ring unbemerkt wieder aufgetaucht, im friedlichen Auenland bei den Hobbits. Der alte Zauberer trägt Frodo auf, das Auenland mit dem Ring zu verlassen, da die neun obersten Diener Saurons, die Nazgûl, schwarze grausame Reiter, bereits nach ihm suchen würden. Ein Rat wird einberufen und die Vertreter der Völker beschließen, dass Frodo den Ring in dem Feuer zerstören muss, in dem er vor Urzeiten geschmiedet wurde, dem Feuer des Vulkans Orodruin mitten in Mordor, dem Land des Bösen. Doch Frodo soll nicht alleine losziehen. Und so wird die Gemeinschaft des Rings gebildet. Sie besteht aus den Hobbits Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, dem Elben Legolas, dem Zwergen Gimli, den Menschen Aragorn und Boromir und natürlich Gandalf. Und so begibt sich Frodo mit seinen Gefährten auf eine lange und beschwerliche Reise mitten in das Land des Bösen.
